Lincoln Memorial

The Lincoln Memorial is an American national monument built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. Dedicated in 1922, the Lincoln Memorial is the most visited site on the National Mall. The beautiful Lincoln memorial towers over the Reflecting Pool, making it a must-see attraction in Washington, D.C.. It's located on the western end of the National Mall across from the Washington Monument.

How to Get There

The Lincoln Memorial is located at the west end of the National Mall. Nearest Metrorail stations are Foggy Bottom (23rd St. &I St. NW) and the the Smithsonian (12th St. &Independence Ave. SW), both accessed by the orange/blue/silver metro lines.
